Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information
The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

  1. To display information such as registered information, service usage status, purchased products, and charges so users can view or edit their registration information.
  2. To contact users via email or other methods for notifications, product shipment, and necessary communications.
  3. To verify users' identities through information such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, bank account number, credit card number, and delivery confirmation of certified mail.
  4. To charge users for fees by using information related to purchased products, service usage types, billing amounts, and payment information.
  5. To facilitate data entry for users by displaying registered information or forwarding it to other services based on user instructions.
  6. To refuse use of the Services by users who have violated the Terms of Use or attempted to use the Services for fraudulent purposes, using identifiable information such as name and address.
  7. To respond to user inquiries, using necessary information such as contact information, service usage status, and details of inquiries or billing.
  8. For purposes incidental to the above purposes of use.

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent, except in the following cases or as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws:

  1. When required by law.
  2. When it is necessary to protect human life, body, or property and obtaining consent is difficult.
  3. When it is necessary for the promotion of public health or healthy development of children, and obtaining consent is difficult.
  4. When cooperation with government institutions or local public entities is required to perform legally prescribed duties, and obtaining consent may interfere with these duties.
  5. When the following items are notified or disclosed in advance:
    • Inclusion of provision of personal information to third parties in the purposes of use.
    • The items of data provided to third parties.
    • The method or means of providing information to third parties.
    • The right to request suspension of provision of personal information to third parties upon user request.

The following cases are not considered provision to third parties:

  2. When personal information is provided in connection with business succession due to mergers or other reasons.
  3. When personal information is jointly used with specific entities, and the user has been notified or made easily aware of the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of joint users, purposes of use, and the entity responsible for managing personal information.

Disclosure of Personal Information
When requested by the user, the Company will disclose personal information without delay. However, if disclosure falls under any of the following cases, all or part of the information may not be disclosed, and the user will be notified of the decision without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per request applies for the disclosure of personal information.

  1. When disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the user or a third party.
  2. When disclosure may significantly interfere with the proper conduct of the Company's business.
  3. When disclosure would violate other laws.

As a general rule, information other than personal information, such as history and characteristic information, will not be disclosed.

Correction and Deletion of Personal Information
If personal information held by the Company is incorrect, users may request correction or deletion through the procedure specified by the Company. If the Company deems it necessary to respond to the request, the Company will correct or delete the relevant personal information without delay and notify the user.

Suspension of Use of Personal Information
If requested by the user to stop using or erase personal information on the grounds that it is handled beyond the scope of the intended purposes or was obtained by fraudulent means, the Company will promptly conduct necessary investigations and, based on the results, suspend or erase the personal information and notify the user. However, if suspension or erasure requires significant costs or if suspension is difficult, the Company will take alternative measures necessary to protect the user’s rights and interests.

The content of this Policy may be changed without notice to the user. Unless otherwise specified, the revised Privacy Policy will take effect upon posting on this website.
